Course Description

A detailed study of the local church in God’s plan, the structure and order in the New Testament church and the ministries of the local church and their functions.

Instructor

Travis Arnold, Professor of Theology

MA, Biblical & Theology Studies, Western Seminary

Travis graduated from Portland Bible College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Theology. He briefly served Pastor Frank Damazio as his assistant before returning to PBC in 2008 to teach full time. He earned his Master's in Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary. Travis also serves as an elder at Mannahouse. He and his wife Rachel live just outside Portland in Vancouver, Washington with their three young children. Their mutual passion is that of Ezra: “to study the law of the Lord and to practice it, and to teach his statutes and ordinances in Israel" (Ezra 7:10).
